CLAY PARTITIONS

The sculptures made by Madeleine Pons are an absolute osmosis between music and the clay. The music emerges from the earth and the clay becomes her instrument. An unusual intensity emanates from the works of the artist who improvises her creation on the tempo of the selected music. Thus were born "Traviata, Don Giovanni, Cantabile, Bodensee ... out of the artist's hands. The power of music and line merge in a burst. That of creative emotion. Her sculptures are the creation of an absolute love of music, fed by practicing the piano and singing.
